Authentic Ayahuasca Retreat, Sacred Valley and Jungle Retreat, Shipibo Maestros,Affordable Ayahuasca

Shakruna Ayahuasca Retreats are about authenticity and heart space. In our 12 day Ayahuasca Retreat in the Sacred Valley of the Incas we enhance the Authentic Ayahuasca Experience with Shipibo Maestros by bringing in Andean Wisdom. Working in Partnership with Reviveolution we honour the Q’ero traditions of Dispacho and Coca Readings to give our guests a deep healing experience of both of these time honoured lineages.

Medicine within the Ayahuasca retreat

In addition to our usual retreat program we are also including this medicine from the Sacred Valley of the Incas and The Q'ero

Coca Reading

Coca leaf readings are an ancient Andean divination process in which one may ask specific questions to the Maestro and Coca leaf spirit to receive guidance. Through breath transmission and prayer, the Maestro will throw the leaves onto a traditional blanket, and the orientation and attributes of the leaves will allow the Maestro to interpret responses based on a deepened life-long relationship with his master plant. Though this practice is more commonly directly precedes the Despacho, we have decided to integrate this great wisdom earlier in our retreat so that we may get further guidance and clarification to why the medicine has brought us to this space and a possible direction to the work we may need to do within ourselves whilst working with her . This will help us set intention and to delve more deeply into the insights gained through the various medicines, ceremonies and processes we will be experiencing throughout the retreat, providing beneficial guidance to our future decisions and actions, which could be the very foundation that will support our lives.

Despacho Ceremony

Andean ceremonial traditions range far & wide with a vast array of teachings and practices. We connect you directly to authentic teachings from the Q’ero Nation, rooted in the “haywayrikuy” ceremony, more commonly known as the “Despacho.” This is an offering of plants, seeds, grains, sweets, & sacred elements given to the fire in honor of Pachamama (Mother Earth) & the Apus mountain deities. Each specific Despacho hold a multitude of minute variations within its elements. the symbolism, meaning and intention can be subtle in its fluctuation but have a powerful effect on the people attending this sacred Andean ceremony. We have placed this beautiful ceremony at the end of our retreat because by offering gifts to the Earth and our ancestors, we pay our respects and provide them sustenance. In this way we can also offer our intentions of change, growth and development. We offer to the fire and the ancestor what no longer benefits us and with this respectful, mutual exchange they continue supporting our life in a fluid interactive manner of reciprocity.

Sound Healing

We are grateful to be able to present you with this beautiful opportunity to meet and explore your inner worlds with Brisa and Zensi at our Sacred Valley Retreat.

"When we pay attention to nature's music, we find that everything on the Earth contributes to its harmony.”  ― Hazrat Inayat Khan

Since the dawn of time, human beings have used sound to receive information from their environment, to communicate with each other, and to create altered states of consciousness. Almost all ancient cultures understood sound to be the creative, generative force which gave form to the universe.

Sound healing is based on the principle that everything in the universe is in a state of constant vibration. Every molecule, cell, tissue, organ, gland, bone and liquid in our bodies has its own specific rate of vibration. Like a well tuned musical instrument, the body has a rhythmic, harmonious form, unless its vibratory field is disrupted. Disease can be defined as any disorder, disruption or disharmony in this field. Sound, vibration and music have long been a part of our response to disease and illness, and the inter-relationship between sound, music, health and the environment is inextricable. Sounds in our environment touch every part of our physical being, not only through our ears but through every cell in our bodies.
